School Age Program
We at Renaissance view our commitment to Milwaukee area families as a long-term promise to provide a safe, educational, and community building experience for children for many years. In working to achieve that end we offer care and educational programming for school age children up to 12 years old in the “Tiger Room”.
The Tiger Room is home to our before and after school program as well as our “Summer Voyage” summer camp program. Additionally, we provide care for children on days off of school throughout the year. The flexibility of these options make Renaissance a fantastic place to enhance your 5-12 year olds education and enjoyment. The Tiger teachers provide daily art and science activities as well as daily opportunities for organized cooperative small group and outdoor games. Team building is at the heart of what we do in the Tiger room. Our school age students learn to become leaders for the younger classrooms through a variety of programs that teach them to take responsibility for and have ownership over the work they do at Renaissance.
The summers at Renaissance are a wonderful opportunity for your child to explore through 3-4 weekly field trips free of any extra charge to you. This assortment of activity ensures that every child will be entertained and educated regardless of their age. When the children are at the center we provide additional classes to them ranging from martial arts, dance, tumbling, and art. These classes are taught by trained professionals with the assistance of the classroom teachers your child is familiar with.
Renaissance also offers care on days off of school throughout the year. We know how inconvenient it can be to find arrangements for your child’s care on banking days, conference days, record days, and all of the other days that your child’s school is closed. Renaissance offers drop in care on these days all year long. Year after year parents tell us how relieved they are to know that one thing they don’t have to worry about is daycare on school closing days. We’re happy to take that weight off your shoulders!
